Dental implants, Invisalign, aesthetic dentistry (veneers, crowns, bridges, mock-up), whitening with Philips Zoom, DVT 3D X-ray, prophylaxis (GBT/Airflow) and root canal treatment. All insurances and self-paying patients welcome. All services →
Yes — everyone is welcome at FAMDENTAL, regardless of origin, age, gender or sexual orientation. We naturally treat patients from the LGBTQ+ community with the same care and openness as everyone else. Our practice is a place where every person is seen as a whole human being.
FAMDENTAL is located in the medical centre at Weydingerstraße 18 in Berlin Mitte — in the same building you will also find general medicine, an ophthalmologist, ENT, a gynaecologist and a dermatologist. All under one roof, right at the U2 Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz.

Implantology
The cost depends on bone quality, materials and the crown. In your consultation you receive a transparent treatment and cost plan that you can submit to your insurer in advance. Learn more →
This depends on the individual case — such as bone quality and your starting situation. We discuss the exact process and timeframe with you personally. During healing you can wear a temporary restoration. Learn more →
Public insurers provide a fixed subsidy. Private insurers reimburse 50–100% depending on your plan. We prepare a treatment and cost plan in advance and support you through the process. Learn more →
Invisalign
Yes — Invisalign is especially popular with adults, as the aligners are nearly invisible and removable. No impact on work or daily life. Learn more →

Aesthetics & whitening
A mock-up is a temporary simulation of your smile directly on your teeth — no grinding, no procedure. You see and feel the result in advance. Learn more →

How much your teeth can be brightened depends on the individual case. We are happy to discuss this with you personally in a consultation. Learn more →
Crowns, bridges and fillings are not brightened by whitening. We check individually in advance whether whitening is right for you. Learn more →
We use high-quality, biocompatible materials: all-ceramic for metal-free, natural-looking restorations and gold as a proven, long-lasting option. We do not use amalgam – mercury-containing dental amalgam has been banned in the EU since January 2025 and does not meet our standard of quality anyway.

Cleaning & root canal treatment

This depends on your individual situation and dental health. We agree the right frequency with you personally and give you our assessment during your appointment. Learn more →
Professional teeth cleaning is usually not a standard benefit of public health insurers (gesetzliche Krankenkassen). Many still pay a voluntary subsidy – often once a year via a bonus programme. Private supplementary insurance typically reimburses 1–2 sessions per year. The exact amount depends on your plan. More about professional cleaning →
It depends on individual pain sensitivity. Under local anaesthesia, the treatment is generally no more painful than a regular dental treatment — and it relieves existing pain. Learn more →
In most cases, yes. After successful treatment the tooth is restored with a crown or filling — a valuable alternative to extraction. Learn more →
